Is the website really included?
Yes, it's part of your subscription on both plans. We build it from your setup answers: a home page, a page for each service, a page for each city you serve, your hours and a request form that lands in your inbox. It lives at yourname.tradesbase.2-25-227-141.sslip.io and updates by itself when you change your setup. Connecting your own domain (like yourcompany.com) is on our roadmap.
Do I keep my business number?
Yes. You also get a local TradesBase line for your website, Google profile and truck: calls to it ring your cell, and the ones you miss get a text back. Rather keep advertising your current number only? Set your cell to forward the calls you don't answer to your TradesBase line, and those missed calls get the text too.
How does the missed-call text work?
When someone calls your TradesBase line, your cell rings and you hear "TradesBase call for (your business). Press 1 to answer." If you don't press 1 (you're on a roof, driving, or it went to your voicemail), the caller gets a text from your business within seconds, the conversation lands in your inbox and we email you.
When do texts start?
U.S. carriers require every business that texts customers to register first (A2P 10DLC). We file it for you, and it usually takes 1 to 3 weeks. Until then, calls still ring your cell, website requests still reach your inbox and you get every missed call by email.
How do review requests work?
Type the customer's name and cell or email, and they get a short message from your business with a link straight to your Google review form.
